22 Strings With Levers, 3 Octaves Tuned C-C, Handcrafted, Includes Tuner & Extra Strings

This Bedwyr Harp has 22 DuPont hard nylon strings and has a 3 octave range: from C" to c". Its bottom note is the same as for the Minstrel (Information Below).

There are sharpening levers on all 22 strings to enable the harpist to play in any key by raising the pitch of the string a half-step (eg. F to f#). The strings are coded with the "C" strings being colored red and the "F" strings colored blue.

What is a Minstrel you ask?

A minstrel was a medieval European bard who performed songs whose lyrics told stories of distant places or of existing or imaginary historical events. Although minstrels created their own tales, often they would memorize and embellish the works of others. They were an entertainer who traveled from place to place to sing and recite poetry.
